Daycare FAQs

Answers to the most common questions about daycare at Dioji Athletic Club.

What does the first visit process look like?

Before your dog's first daycare visit, they'll need to complete a temperament evaluation. This allows our staff to observe how your dog interacts with other dogs and people in a supervised setting. Once approved, your pup can start attending daycare right away.

What is the temperament evaluation and why is it required?

The temperament evaluation is a supervised assessment of your dog's social behavior. It ensures every dog in our play groups is comfortable and safe around other dogs. This evaluation is required for all new dogs before their first daycare or group play session.

What are the daycare hours and schedule?

Our Athletic Club daycare operates during regular business hours. Drop-off begins in the morning and pickup is available throughout the day. Contact your nearest Dioji location for specific hours, as they may vary by facility.

How are dogs grouped during play?

Dogs are grouped by size, age, and play style to ensure safe, compatible playmates. Our staff continuously monitors all play groups and adjusts as needed throughout the day. This approach keeps play fun and safe for every dog.

Do you send report cards?

Yes! We send digital report cards with photos of your dog's day. You'll get to see who they played with, what activities they enjoyed, and how their day went. It's one of our most popular features among Dioji parents.

What vaccinations are required for daycare?

All daycare dogs must have current vaccinations including rabies, DHPP (distemper), and bordetella (kennel cough). Proof of vaccination must be provided before your dog's first visit. We also require dogs over 7 months old to be spayed or neutered for group play.
